About the role
We're after an experienced Civil Structures Supervisor to oversee FRP (formwork, reinforcement and pouring) packages from $500k to $5 million. You'll lead crews, coordinate the construction activity and deliver the works to Tier 1 standards. It's a hands-on leadership role for someone with the technical know-how and the ticket to run a site properly.
What you'll be doing
- ✓Supervise and manage site teams of 5–20 across multiple civil projects
- ✓Interpret and implement formwork temporary designs and reinforcement schedules
- ✓Plan, organise and coordinate concrete crews and plant for concrete pours
- ✓Ensure safe, efficient and high-quality delivery of all works
- ✓Maintain compliance with Tier 1 civil contractor requirements
- ✓Complete daily site documentation — timesheets, diaries and reports
- ✓Assist site engineers to develop and track the construction program
- ✓Foster a positive, proactive, solutions-focused team culture
- ✓Manage and coordinate subcontractors, materials and equipment
Skills & experience
- ✓Proven experience supervising FRP works on Tier 1 civil infrastructure projects
- ✓Strong understanding of formwork, reinforcement and concrete works
- ✓Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills
- ✓Sound knowledge of safety, quality and environmental standards
- ✓Ability to deliver projects within time, budget and scope
- ✓Strong reporting and record-keeping skills
- ✓Current driver’s licence
